Placement matches

I just finished my ten placement matches, winning four and losing six, and was place in plat 5. I'm happy, considering that I got to start in silver 1 or gold 5 in the past two seasons (2016 and 2017). The team atmosphere was nice in the past ten matches, win or loss, perhaps because the stakes are higher than in mid or end season I guess. However, I did have tilted teammates who lost eight or nine in a row. I know the impact of the first few games right after the ten still matters a lot, but still I wonder if it's better there is an option for players to choose how many placement matches they want to have, instead of a one-size-fits-all formula (ten matches). This might at least look fairer for players who believe they are having bad luck.
